The presence of citizens on the territory of the forest fund and their exercise of the right of forest use

Citizens have the right to freely stay on the territory of the forest fund and, without permits, to collect wild berries, mushrooms, fruits, nuts, forest litter, fallen leaves, harvesting tree juices, birch bark and tree branches, wild plants and their parts, moss (except wild plants and mushrooms included in the The Red Book of the Republic of Belarus or those subject to international treaties of the Republic of Belarus, as well as those included in the list of narcotic plants and natural narcotic raw materials, approved by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus), participate in cultural and recreational, tourist, other recreational and (or) mass sports, physical culture and recreation and sports events held on the territory of the forest fund, unless otherwise established by this Code and other legislative acts.

Harvesting of tree sap, moss by citizens is carried out on the forest fund sites determined for these purposes by forestry, forestry.

Harvesting of wood on forest fund plots by citizens is carried out for a fee on the basis of an order.

Placement of beehives and apiaries, haymaking, grazing of livestock by citizens on forest fund plots are carried out free of charge on the basis of a forest ticket.

Harvesting, collection by citizens of wild plants and fungi included in the Red Book of the Republic of Belarus or subject to international treaties of the Republic of Belarus, as well as those included in the list of narcotic plants and natural narcotic raw materials approved by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, are prohibited.

Citizens located on the territory of the forest fund are obliged to:

— comply with the requirements of legislation on the use, protection, protection and reproduction of forests, on environmental protection;
— comply with the Rules of fire safety in the forests of the Republic of Belarus, and in case of detection of a forest fire, immediately inform legal entities conducting forestry, or bodies and divisions of the republican state emergency management body or subordinate organizations and assist in its extinguishing;
— to prevent illegal logging, damage and (or) destruction of forest plantations, pollution of forests with waste, destruction and destruction of anthills, nests, burrows and other habitats of wild animals, except in cases established by legislative acts;
— dispose of waste only in places of temporary storage of waste.

The presence of citizens on the territory of the forest fund, their exercise of the right of forest use may be restricted or prohibited by decisions of local executive and administrative bodies in the cases specified in subparagraph 1.9 of paragraph 1 of Article 13 of the Forest Code, as well as in other cases in accordance with the Forest Code and other legislative acts.
